VMware needs to buy Novell

Novell story was full of ups and downs. After he had been the powerhouse of the NetWare network operating system. Then they tried to be a consulting company. Most recently, Novell has been Linux companies and another Microsoft.

VMware long company business go to virtualization.But now everything in business virtualization. I think VMware should seek to provide a more complete software stack, buying her new best buddy, Novell.

Novell certainly looks for buyer. While the company is still almost a billion in the Bank, he didn't do as well in the market.Red Hat, Novell, Linux companies remains big business. Novell is an important — the company is particularly strong in IBM mainframes Linux space. But as the last Novell income report shows yet, but would also like to its shareholders.

On the other hand, VMware is doing very well. but I still wonder how long VMware can withstand a pressure of so many competitors. There's a Microsoft hyper-v Red Hat with KVM Citrix with Xen and Oracle with VirtualBox and Oracle VM.Even if VMware worlds better than the competition, and I don't think it is everyone else offers virtualization for free or as part of the package.

Could the two companies announce merger? Were rumors for awhile that VMware may buy Novell. I don't know much about these rumors, but I know this is a thing that makes a lot of sense for both companies.
