New data center services accepts data engines

I'm starting to see more interest in EMC'S announcement about its new consolidate it infrastructure solutions, called Vblock, which is part of a broad coalition of EMC, Cisco and VMware called Virtual computing environment Coalition (VCE) and its spin-off Acadia, now headed by Mike Kapellas, which is used to run the Compaq.

It is interesting that EMC owns two thirds VCE, eh?So I'm sure it's "open", right? Wink, wink, nod, smile.

I was so interested in this group, the reason I'm talking about data services engine as a way to reduce expenses for quite a while. this new partnership between the major players like Cisco, VMware and EMC confirms maligned times approach and checks my it optimization engine models and data services, strengthening the paradigm that virtualization is a key driving force of cloud computing and data Center optimization and design.

This new marketing strategy for the convergence of innovation and technology in feature-rich, but simplified proposal is not unique, though.

Apple pushed iPod and iPad as innovative projects on the market for mobile and handheld computing, and Cisco and EMC'S VMware now pitching all "v" (which I assume stands for virtual).EMC is "Vblocks" (this name even conjure up an image of some HEMI V8 engine, right? ERGO paradigm), and VMware VSphere "."

HDS is fighting back by Hitachi unified computing platforms on the basis of virtual memory with managing complex data as part of HP. reducing it costs, is pushing a converged infrastructure that distinguishes "overall modular infrastructure for virtual computing, memory, storage & networking resources."And Cisco has been pushing its unified computing architectures for awhile now.

What is actually a vendor is what I call a service engine (DSE).

Description of services subsystem is as follows:

Module data services is a combination of high availability of hardware and software components, providing modular units it infrastructure for effective operation, protection, replication and recovery of critical applications and data.

DSE hardware components include:

Power efficient grid or blade, calculate blocksModular (solid-state drive) Multiprotocol switches to networks and storage error tolerant power, cooling, shelves and cables

DSE software includes:

Server virtualizationStorage virtualizationWAN optimizationData deduplicationContinuous data protection and data replicationData mobilitySecurityReporting backupOptimized

Even large industrial contractors, such as CJSC Corporation pool party in partnership with VCE, which if you ask me, EMC and Cisco just joined forces to try to take over the world.

The real meaning of it all for end-users, the traditional producers finally get their act together to and now seeing the light, that most organizations in the public and private sectors: simple it solutions that simply work they want their computers to actually help make life easier, not harder.

Users want to be able to select a partner and have a partner to provide compute, storage, networking, backup, replication, restore, security, and reporting capabilities they need to be simple, easy-to-use, easy to implement packages that are modular, cost-effective units.

The good news is that virtualization is finally making these solutions available, and the vision it procurement becomes a real possibility: the bad news is now trying to block providers you their vision of what partner and after they block you, they will have you and your it dollars.

Your homework for today is to do research to figure out where on the network, storage and server industry is moving so that you can be ready for my next blog post on any data services engine must provide in order to impact the bottom line, so you can pick your partners wisely.
